I love to bake and I will never skip dessert! My favorite desserts to make and eat are French madeleines, cakes, and classic chocolate chip cookies.

I am the oldest of four kids and my personality certainly fits the part. My husband also comes from a large family and his siblings have always felt like my own. We love big families and our siblings are some of our closest friends.

I love to garden and especially enjoy growing English Roses and other cut flowers. Veggies are certainly fun, but I’d rather cut a flower than eat a vegetable on a typical day.

My perfect day includes a pastry and an iced jasmine tea before biking around the jasmine-lined streets of Charleston, South Carolina. The day would end with a lovely Al Fresco dinner at The Post House Inn in Mount Pleasant and a slice of flourless chocolate cake to go. With dessert in hand, we would head straight to Pitt Street bridge to watch the sunset over the water.
